General Information
KEM PR-4110 is
used as an antifoulant in crude units. It works
especially well when oxygen and peroxide induced degradation contributes to
fouling. It has proven unusually hel pful
where feedstocks have been exposed to air immediately before processing.
Chemical Description
Refinery antifoulant. Blend of polyalkenyl amide polyamine
and amino alkyl phenol resin in aromatic solvent.
Product Application
• KEM PR-4110 injected into the feed stream will
effectively reduce oxygen-based fouling.
• Typical dose rates would be in the 15-30 ppm range.
Features and Benefits
• A multicomponent antifoulant whose dispersantcy
promotes and maintains clean surfaces.
• Reduces downtime of heat transfer equipment.
• Increases run lengths of towers and columns.
Recommended Use
Where oxygen and/or peroxide induced polymerisation
mechanisms contribute to fouling.
Material Compatibility
KEM PR-4110 is compatible with stainless steel, high density
polyethylene, baked epoxy phendic, Viton and carbon steel. KEM PR-4110 contains
no organic Halides, heavy metals or other substances known to be harmful to
process equipment. The material is not suited to natural and synthetic rubber or
polypropylene.
 Health
Information
