General Information
KEM PR-4115 is a highly effective antifoulant for crude oils,
residual crudes, and processed hydrocarbon feedstocks where asphaltenic,
carbonaceous, and inorganic particulate matter are the basic fouling components.
It has superior dispersant properties, which prevent suspended particulate from
agglomerating and adhering to heat transfer surfaces throughout the unit.
KEM PR-4115 is typically used for fouling prevention in
exchanger preheat trains of crude distillation units
Chemical Description
KEM PR-4115 is a blend of dispersant based molecules.
Product Application
• KEM PR-4115 should be injected upstream of the fouling
problem.
• Introduce far enough upstream to give good fluid mixing.
• Typical dose rates of KEM PR-4115 are 25-100 ppm
depending on the specific application and fouling severity.
Features and Benefits
Superior dispersant properties. High thermal stability.
Extends exchanger run lengths. Reduces cleaning costs.
Maintains throughput capacity. Maintains excellent heat
transfer and hence reduces furnace fuel costs.
Material Compatibility
KEM PR-4115 is compatible with Teflon, Viton and most other
elastomeric seals. In addition the product contains no organic halides, heavy
metals or other substances known to be harmful to petrochemical processes or
equipment.
 Health
Information
KEM PR-4115 has a low order of toxicity. Avoid prolonged and
repeated skin contact. In case of contact with skin or eyes, flush the exposed
area with water for at least 15 minutes. Call a physician. Please refer to
Chemical Handling Data Sheet.
Storage/Handling
KEM PR-4115 may be stored in mild steel, stainless steel or
other metal tanks. Keep containers closed to prevent product contamination and
evaporation. Use with adequate ventilation. Observe any warning labels on
product container. Other normal precautions for process chemicals apply.
