General Information
KEM PR-4132 is a highly effective antifoulant specially
formulated for applications that require a high temperature anticoking additive
to maintain clean cost effective heat transfer surfaces.
Chemical Description
KEM PR-4132 is a blend of dispersant based molecules and
highly effevtive surface active agents.
Product Application
• KEM PR-4132 is normally injected upstream of the problem
area. Typical dosage rates vary from 25 to 300 ppm dependent on the specific
application and fouling severity.
• A usual chemical injection pump is sufficient for
chemical introduction.
Features and Benefits
• KEM PR-4132 exhibits superior dispersant properties as
well as excellent thermal stability.
• Extends exchanger/fractionator run lengths.
• Reduces downtime and cleaning costs.
• Increases overall throughput capacity.
Material Compatibility
KEM PR-4132 is compatible with mild steel, stainless steel
and other metals. It is also compatible with most industrial seals such as
buna-N, neoprene and teflon. It is thermally stable and contains no organic
halide constituents known to be harmful to process equipment or catalysts. It
does contain some alkaline metals. The product will remain with the bottoms
stream throughout the treated system.
Health Information
KEM PR-4132 has a low order of toxicity. Avoid breathing
vapours and contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wash thoroughly after
handling. In case of eye contact, immediately flush with plenty of water for at
least 15 minutes. Call a physician. Flush skin with water. Please refer to
Chemical Handling Data Sheet.
Storage/Handling
Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames. Keep containers
closed to prevent product contamination and evaporation. Observe any warning
labels on product container. Other normal precautions for process chemicals
apply.
